Car cookies, the follow-up

Well, they didn't work. In the end, the cookies looked much like they did at the halfway mark--but with all the oil seeping out. Not so appealing. And probably not so safe, health-wise, at that point. I think if we'd started earlier in the day, we might have been successful. It was officially 101 degrees yesterday, and the temp. in my car, on the roof, was much higher than that. The next time we have such hot weather, I'll be prepared!
