I made eight kinds of cookies and candies this year ... a bit excessive perhaps, but I didn't make all the ones I wanted to even! Clockwise, from the right, there are soft chocolate-peppermint cookies, almond butter crunch, world peace cookies, outrageous chocolate brownies, lemon sables down the middle, and chocolate, espresso, and vanilla meringue stars. Not pictured: a ton of chocolate-pecan fudge and dark chocolate-cranberry blondies. Merry Christmas!
