The recipe is based on one in Big Fat Cookies. Huge bittersweet chocolate chips, unsweetened cocoa, plump dried cranberries, oatmeal, and a few pecans make these cookies rich and chewy.

I made some oatmeal c.c. cookies the other day, but mine don't look as good as yours. Possibly because there are no cherries or nuts. So you should probably share yours with me.
But you're welcome to come on over and have some -- since I didn't make the massive cookies the recipe suggested, I ended up with six dozen! Not that there are that many now ... hehehe. I'll be happy to test your oatmeal cc cookies, too.
