An apple crostata is kind of a freeform apple pie. There's no pie pan and only one crust, which is folded up around the edges of the apples. A crumbly, buttery, sugar-and-spicy mixture is sprinkled over the top, and then it all bakes down to look like this.
Just a slice, with a little vanilla ice cream on the side ...

I'm not going to tell you not to ... but your co-workers might be a little grossed out! Might be easier for you to just invite yourself over to have a slice.
