Apple Crostata

An apple crostata is kind of a freeform apple pie. There's no pie pan and only one crust, which is folded up around the edges of the apples. A crumbly, buttery, sugar-and-spicy mixture is sprinkled over the top, and then it all bakes down to look like this. Just a slice, with a little vanilla ice cream on the side ... And a welcome home dinner featuring chicken roasted on a bed of onions and flavored with garlic, paprika, rosemary, dijon mustard, and other good things; homemade applesauce; rice pilaf with orzo; roasted acorn squash with butter and a little brown sugar; and a salad of baby romaine, apples, red peppers, and pistachios.

That looks good! Is it wrong to lick the screen?

I'm not going to tell you not to ... but your co-workers might be a little grossed out! Might be easier for you to just invite yourself over to have a slice.
