Simply Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls are a comfort thing -- they're sweet, buttery, cinnomony pastries that just about instantly make you feel happy. Of course, they can also be over-the-top huge and gloppy, covered with cream cheese. The dough for this recipe is smooth and satiny, easy to roll out, and the filling is flavorful, combining brown sugar, cinnamon, chopped pecans and butter. I think next time I might double the amount of filling to further boost the flavor, but these were still quite tasty and disappeared quickly with a cup of hot coffee or juice. Just a bite ...
