This recipe is essentially for Twix bars--very rich ones, at that. Despite the layers, the recipe is fairly simple: shortbread, caramel, chocolate, and patience while it all sets up. And as you can see, I clearly skipped the last step--as demonstrated with my drippy, but homemade, caramel. The final bars are good, but I can't imagine dipping them in chocolate too, as suggested.

Yummy! I think dipping them would be too much too. Those alone look like you'd need a gallon of milk.
Yeah ... they're pretty sweet to begin with -- no more chocolate necessary (did I just say that?)
Yum, they have these all over Great Britian. I forget what they call them. A popular big box store over there even sells a gluten free variety.
though yours look better. The drippy caramel. Mmmmm. I can actually feel it on my fingers.
