Imagine a lime tart here

I made a lime curd tart for Mother's Day. I used a short crust and topped the lime curd with strawberries and cream, and it was pretty good, if I do say so myself. But the picture wasn't so hot, taken with my cell phone and all, so you'll just have to imagine the limey, tarty goodness that we ate. Also served were homemade pizzas (spinach and garlic and plain cheese) and a salad of mixed greens. Earlier in the day, for lunch, I made shrimp salad, pasta with pesto/peas/pignolis, tomatoes layered with fresh mozzarella, and Greek yogurt drizzled with lavender honey. I had grand-er plans for Greek food, but the Greek market I drove all over the county to find was mysteriously closed.

I had never heard of Greek yogurt until about a month ago. Ernie came back from mom n' pop store next door with a tub of their homemade Greek yogurt (the store is owned by a Greek family and sells Greek foods - homemade and imported from Greece - including butter!). He loved it. Me, not so much.

I wonder if the homemade yogurt is tangier? This stuff isn't very tangy, which is a good thing IMO, and it had the approx. consistency of sour cream. Oh, and I forgot to add that I served strawberries with it too.

I tried calling the Greek market again, but no one seems to be home. I suspect they might be gone for good. :(

That yogurt we had was really tangy. It looked like sour cream as well.

when are you going to a new dish? BTW, homemade yogurt tends to be very bland but makes a great backdrop when you add fruit to it.
