The March 1 Chocolate Cake

Because it's March 1, we had chocolate cake today. I hadn't heard of that tradition either, but two of my nearest and dearest informed me that we should have chocolate cake on March 1--which is good enough reason for me! The cake is from a Barefoot Contessa recipe, using local Greek-style yogurt from Blue Ridge Dairy instead of sour cream, and the frosting is a variation on one from Fine Cooking.

Looks yummy! I prefer having chocolate cake on March 2 but that just me :)
