I love cranberries, caramel and pecans, so what could be wrong with combining them all? Not a thing ... these are delicious. And the cranberry topping, drizzled with dark chocolate, is just so pretty. Lacking the larger pan called for in the recipe, I made two pans of very thin bars--which actually works because they're so rich, though it does make them a bit more delicate to handle. Next time, and there will be a next time, I'm going to make a single pan of thicker bars.
