Summer Food

Summer food is easy and flavorful.  Summer's just heating up here, but the grill is already going strong.  Here we have barbecued chicken, with a smoky mix including honey, smoked paprika and aleppo pepper.  We had Mediterranean potato salad, a nontraditional version that uses champagne vinegar, Dijon mustard, feta cheese, and lots of herbs.  You won't miss the mayo.  And because we're not fussing, the other sides include a simple walking salad of sweet red peppers and avocado and a big bowl full of cherries.
